The main gathering of the three-day public event titled “We Won’t Give Up Serbia”, held in front of the National Assembly in Belgrade, passed without major incidents, according to a statement by the Belgrade Police Department. Authorities praised the professionalism of police officers who ensured public order and safety throughout the rally.

In total, police detained 25 individuals during the gathering. Four were held in custody, while 22 others received misdemeanor charges for disturbing public peace and order.

One individual was charged with obstructing a law enforcement officer in the line of duty, and another is facing criminal charges for violent conduct at a public gathering.

Several participants were warned for blocking roads and preventing buses carrying supporters from proceeding.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs also reported that multiple buses transporting attendees were hit with eggs thrown by bystanders not participating in the event.

Three separate incidents were recorded involving individuals who were not affiliated with the organized protest. These individuals insulted attendees, refused to comply with police orders, disrupted public peace, and physically assaulted members of the event’s security team.

In the first incident, a man near the Rakovica entrance verbally harassed participants and disobeyed police instructions, resulting in a misdemeanor charge.

In the second, near the Sava Center, a person insulted rally attendees before using pepper spray against event marshals.

In the third, during the central part of the rally, an individual caused property damage by throwing chairs and disturbing the peace.

Police also reported an incident involving Nemanja Sarovic, which has been forwarded to the public prosecutor for further investigation.

Additionally, three buses and one city sanitation truck belonging to the public utility company “Gradska cistoca” were reported damaged during the event.
