Members of the Novi Sad police department have arrested a 20-year-old local man suspected of manufacturing and selling illegal drugs like cocaine and marijuana .
It is alleged that he sold marijuana to a young man and woman from Sremska Kamenica, where police later discovered the drug.
During a search of the apartment used by the young man, authorities also found marijuana and a digital scale for precise measurement.
The suspect has been detained for up to 48 hours and will be brought before the higher public prosecutor in Novi Sad with a criminal complaint.
Criminal charges are also expected to be filed against a 21-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman for suspected unauthorized possession of narcotics.
