Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic spoke with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and advancing their European integration goals.

“Had a good and open conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky,” Vucic shared on Instagram. “We talked about bilateral cooperation, the European path of both Serbia and Ukraine, and especially our engagement within the Ukraine–Southeast Europe format.”

President Zelensky also commented on the meeting via X (formerly Twitter):
“I spoke with President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic. We discussed key topics—our European integration processes and bilateral collaboration.
We focused in particular on cooperation within the Ukraine–Southeast Europe format. We will continue to develop this partnership to further improve its effectiveness. We also agreed on a schedule and to stay in regular contact.”

The conversation marks a continued diplomatic effort to build stronger regional ties amid ongoing European challenges.
