National Assembly President Ana Brnabic has criticized the decision to release the man accused of assaulting journalist Dragana Cendic, calling it deeply shameful.
“It truly is disgraceful they’ve been released. Those who use violence walk free, while others are held back. I’d really like to see how some of you would react if someone had slapped, chased, and kicked your wife, your mother, your grandmother—or your daughter—in the head. I doubt you’d remain so casual if it were Dragana Cendic in their place,” Brnabic remarked sharply.
