Serbia is on the European path and successfully, under almost impossible conditions, maintains its friendships with the Russian Federation and has exceptional relations with China, said Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic during an appearance on TV Prva.

The president stated that the current international circumstances are “extremely difficult” and Serbia must learn how to act.

“There’s a sharp division in Serbia against which I am vehemently opposed—EU or BRICS. On one side, we love Russia and hate the West, and vice versa. There was a dreadful campaign against Germany, Ursula von der Leyen, and Annalena Baerbock, which we must not do. You cannot campaign against Ursula von der Leyen and Annalena Baerbock, they (the EU) employ 83,000 people in our country.”

“This means that 300,000 people live off this, but not just that — you live from this, I live from this, the owner of your television lives from the ads he gets and from the money from the state he receives, because we wouldn’t have that without these factories. Someone just needs to have a bit of sense to understand that,” Vučić stated.

Adding that Serbia is on the European path and successfully maintains its friendships with both the Russian Federation and China under “almost impossible conditions.”
