Arno Gujon, the Director of the Office for Public and Cultural Diplomacy, spoke out on the social media platform X regarding the recent attacks on Serbs in northern Kosovo.
“Did you know that there have been 81 recorded acts of ethnically motivated physical attacks against the Serbs in the #Kosovo-Metohija province during Albin Kurti’s government?
That’s almost one attack per week! These attacks include physical assaults, stabbings, shootings, police brutality, and abductions.
Yesterday, another attack occurred when a Serb was beaten in northern Kosovska Mitrovica by the Kosovo police.
This is why we have created a map of all physical attacks and instances of police brutality in the southern Serbian province since Albin Kurti took power.
Currently, in northern Kosovo and Metohija, there is an intense campaign of violence and expulsion against the remaining Serbian population under the guise of establishing law and order. These actions aim to suppress the Serbian element in northern Kosovo and ‘quietly expel’ Serbs from the province,” the post stated.
He also shared a map of all physical attacks and instances of police brutality in the southern Serbian province since Albin Kurti took office.
