Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic met with the new Swiss Ambassador An Lugon-Mulen in Belgrade today to discuss deepening parliamentary cooperation between the two countries, enhancing economic ties, and collaborating in the field of education.
According to a statement from Brnabic’s office, she informed Lugon-Mulen that a parliamentary friendship group with Switzerland has been formed in the Serbian parliament, with its president being a member of the opposition. This, she noted, is a good indicator of intra-parliamentary cooperation.
Trade exchange between Serbia and Switzerland reached a record high in 2023, and more than 3,000 citizens are employed in Swiss companies in Serbia, the statement added.
Brnabić highlighted that Switzerland is an important partner for Serbia in the field of dual education, which is key for ensuring a skilled workforce with clear educational profiles.
