The President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, met with Gert Jan Koopman, the Director General of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighborhood and Enlargement.
“A productive and fundamentally important conversation with the Director-General of the Directorate for Enlargement @europeancommission about accelerating Serbia’s European path.
I emphasized that our goal is to complete the reform processes and alignment with EU legislation by 2027.
I also expressed the expectation that the EU and its member states will recognize the efforts and progress our country is making, and that we will accelerate towards fulfilling our common goal of Serbia’s EU membership,” wrote Vucic.
