Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric and Tuvalu’s Prime Minister Feleti Teo signed an agreement in Belgrade today, officially abolishing visa requirements for citizens holding ordinary passports.
During the meeting, Djuric highlighted Serbia’s commitment to deepening political dialogue and strengthening overall cooperation with Tuvalu.
He pointed out that boosting political dialogue and hosting high-level visits will help build stronger connections and lay a solid foundation for advancing the relationship between Serbia and Tuvalu, as stated by the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The two leaders also discussed key issues, including climate change, economic collaboration, and partnerships in information technology, education, and sports.
Djuric further noted that Prime Minister Teo’s visit represents the first-ever official bilateral visit to Serbia by a senior Tuvaluan official.
