The President of Equatorial Guinea, Teodoro Obiang Ngema Mbasogo, is currently on an official visit to Serbia, which will last until November 27. He is being hosted by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
President Obiang arrived in Belgrade yesterday, where he was greeted at Nikola Tesla Airport by Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Ivica Dacic.
“Thank you very much for the support you have provided for the territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia. I would also like to thank you for the support you gave us in difficult times, especially in the United Nations, when resolutions were passed against the vital interests of the Republic of Serbia. I want to tell you that Equatorial Guinea can always count on every form of help and support from the Republic of Serbia. We share the belief that sovereign, independent, and free countries must make their own decisions.
Today, we discussed cooperation in all spheres of social life, and I believe we have a tremendous opportunity to enhance our relationship.
With the President of Equatorial Guinea, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo”, wrote Vucic on Instagram.
