Serbian official Ana Brnabic responded on social media platform X to recent comments made by Dragan Djilas, who referred to President Aleksandar Vucic as “crazy.”
“So, Aleksandar Vucic is crazy, and you’re the smart one? You, the ‘smart ones,’ left half a million people without jobs, while he, the ‘crazy one,’ created half a million new positions? You destroyed JAT, he launched Air Serbia. You tried to dismantle the Serbian Army, he turned it into a regional power. You shut down factories, he opened them. You claimed to support the EU, yet he’s the one who started accession talks. You said he would impose sanctions on Russia, then criticized him for not doing so.

You, the ‘smart ones,’ begged him to support your appointments—whether in sports, academia, or international positions—and now call him insane. You demanded elections, he keeps winning them. And there are a million more examples like this.
