Speaker of the National Assembly Ana Brnabic sharply responded on X (formerly Twitter) to an article published by N1 titled “Vucic’s heroes remain in custody, Higher Court in Novi Sad rejects defense appeals,” according to media reports.

“You are right – Vucic’s heroes remain in custody, while your terrorists walk free, because apparently they do not disturb the public by planning civil war and military coups. Fine – the longer you keep them in custody, the bigger heroes they become. They defended the premises of their party – SNS – which those same terrorists attacked mercilessly night after night and day after day. They admitted guilt, did not flee to Croatia to beg foreigners for mercy and help, did not cry, fake hunger or thirst strikes. They remain silent and endure. They trust their country and its institutions even in the hardest moments. Heroes. And justice and the rule of law will return to Serbia. Serbia will always prevail!” Brnabic wrote on X.
