Arno Gujon, the Director of the Office for Public and Cultural Diplomacy, addressed the newly appointed European Parliament rapporteur for Kosovo*.
“Since you have been named the European Parliament’s rapporteur for Kosovo*, here are a few important facts about the region you will be covering. What follows is not Serbian propaganda, as some extremists in Pristina may claim, but rather part of the official UNMIK report on Kosovo*.”

He emphasized the key points from the UNMIK report, including severe discrimination, ethnically motivated attacks, institutional violence, and widespread violations of basic human rights in sectors such as education, healthcare, administration, judiciary, and religious matters. These issues are vital for the survival of the Serbian population in Kosovo and Metohija.
Riho Teras, an Estonian MEP, general, and former commander of the Estonian military, has replaced German MEP Viola von Cramon, who held the position of rapporteur for Kosovo* since 2019.
