“Somehow, it feels like we’re watching last year again after Ribnikar, Dubona, and Malo Orasje, and these calls for protests, marches…
We marched so much last year, and now this doesn’t sound particularly optimistic. The result of last year’s protests was elections where SNS won everything at all levels, and now citizens are wondering where this is going.
The opposition needs to say what’s next. And then, when they win elections, no one shows up—some boycott, others don’t participate, a third group does this, a fourth does that…
And now they’re calling for the prime minister’s resignation, which isn’t going to happen, so they need to explain what’s next. Will they continue with endless protests?
Citizens can’t march for years! They were defeated then, and this keeps happening; they’re demanding things they won’t get.” Ivanji stated.
