Members of the hip-hop group Beogradski Sindikat were splashed with yellow paint during their performance in Futog on Saturday night, while performing their song “Mojne da si caci.”
Feđa Dimovic, a member of the group, told N1 that they were invited by citizens of Futog to perform at a public gathering in support of student movements.
“Before the show, we received warnings from three different sources that we might be attacked again—this time with eggs and paint by so-called ‘caci’,” Dimovic said. “And that’s exactly what happened. During the song ‘Mojne da si caci’, several bags filled with yellow paint were thrown. They didn’t hit us directly, but the paint splashed, and I nearly got some in my eye.”

He praised the swift reaction from both the crowd and the police, noting a difference from a recent incident in Subotica. “Unlike in Subotica, where the police stood by while we were attacked with eggs, this time they reacted immediately and made arrests,” he said.
Despite the attack, Beogradski Sindikat continued their performance and confirmed that they would not cancel any upcoming shows, including one in Pozarevac scheduled for Sunday.
“We expect more attacks,” Dimovic added. “We constantly receive death threats and hostile messages because of our support for the students. But the most important thing is—we won’t stop. Like we say in our song ‘Jos ovu noc’: They can arrest us, beat us, detain us—but they can’t stop the message.”
The group said they remain committed to their cause, emphasizing their belief in a “free Serbia” and solidarity with students.
“We’ve performed over 20 free concerts across Serbia,” they said, “and we’ll keep going until Serbia is finally free.”
