Tesla and SpaceX CEO, Elon Musk made a surprise appearance at a Donald Trump rally on Saturday, supporting the Republican presidential candidate as crucial for democracy in the US.
Speaking to the crowd in Pennsylvania on Saturday, Trump, behind bulletproof glass, introduced Musk, calling him a “truly incredible guy” who will help protect America’s future.
Wearing a black cap with Trump’s campaign slogan “Make America Great Again,” quickly jumped on stage and shook hands with the former president.
Musk spoke to the crowd, adding that they were at the same place where Trump almost got hit by a bullet in July.
“It really shows what someone is made of when they face danger. We had one leader who couldn’t go up a flight of stairs, and another who celebrated after being shot,” he stated, referring to an incident where US Leader Joe Biden tripped while getting on Air Force One airplane.
“Fight, fight, fight! Blood coming down the face!” he shouted, lifting his fist in the air.
Elon Musk, who is also the head of X (Twitter) and a self-described “free speech absolutist,” declared that the November presidential election “is the most important election of our lifetime.”
“The other side wants to take away your free speech; they want to stop you from having any guns or rifles and want to end your voting rights,” he said.
“Donald Trump must win to keep democracy in America,” the billionaire stated, while the whole crowd chanted “Elon Musk.”
Musk has criticized the Biden administration and the Democratic party for taking away too much control from the people of the USA and creating too many rules.
He also expressed concerns regarding the high number of migrants and criminals that have entered into the US over the past few years under the rule of the Biden Administration.
