Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic launched a scathing response to Zdravko Ponos’s claims that President Aleksandar Vucic paid for his meeting with Donald Trump and “lingered to kiss doors” during his US visit.
“What kind of trash you are, the world has yet to see. Everything you write and say speaks volumes about you – how malicious, frustrated, pathetic and powerless you are, what pitiful human misery you represent. Your hatred toward Aleksandar Vucic runs so deep precisely because you don’t measure up to his ankles.”
Ponet pa ispušten kaže narod.
Čamio je čekajući da Trampu poljubi ruku. Uzalud. Poljubio vrata.

Brnabic accused Ponos of resenting Vucic for demonstrating “how to love Serbia and live for Serbia,” and for proving how successful the country can be “when led by real people, not spineless worms like yourselves.”
She added: “Serbia will remember this and will never forgive or forget. I believe and hope our President will be well and continue protecting the country from the likes of you. We’ll overcome this too and emerge stronger. Meanwhile, you’ll remain forever stuck in your swamp of bitterness and misery, with no chance of dragging Serbia back into that mire.”
The Speaker also addressed a tweet shared by opposition figure Marinika Tepic, challenging critics:
“Go ahead, you miserable lot. Today’s the perfect day for each of you to show your true colors again. One by one, let all of Serbia see who you really are.”
Само напред, несрећници. Таман да данас, још једном, свако од вас покаже какав је. Хајде, један по један, да вас све Србија види. pic.twitter.com/l0aletWpc0
