The Speaker of the National Assembly, Ana Brnabic, said that Dragan Djilas has confirmed everything Pernat claimed, specifically that two signatures were abused, not just one.

She responded to a Twitter post by Djilas, stating that by writing it, the SSP leader has essentially admitted to being a thief.

“He just clarified – I’m a thief, not a bandit. I didn’t falsify, I used a deposited signature without permission. That’s how it’s been for 10 years in power – I didn’t steal, I gave to myself and my companies. And the idea that I’m happy they are no longer the strongest opposition party but now only the third largest – that’s pure nonsense. They are all the same to me. Not much difference. Just nuances. The current opposition leader promised 1,000 euros to citizens before the elections, knowing he was lying, just to get a few votes. The same. Former DOS. Finally, Djilas always blames someone or something else for his party’s failure – I’m to blame, Aleksandar Vucic is to blame, Bulatovic is destroying them, SNS is to blame, the election conditions, the EU, Christopher Hill, and everyone else from the Chinese president to the UAE, but he’s never to blame. His party is falling apart, but everyone else, except him, is to blame. That’s why it’s falling apart, and I believe it will continue to fall apart. I don’t care. I work for Serbia, not against any party. I’m not interested in them at all. And this is something I learned in politics from Aleksandar Vucic,” she wrote on X.

She added that this is “another one of many differences between us and them.”
