Day by day, it’s becoming clearer that the prosecution and judiciary are working hand-in-hand with the so-called opposition to exploit the tragedy in Novi Sad. Their goal is to completely destabilize the country and its institutions. Alongside certain media outlets, and following a well-worn strategy borrowed from their Western backers, they are trying to spread fear and panic among state officials. Now, it seems anyone can be accused of anything, said Aleksandar Djurdjev, president of the Serbian League.
Djurdjev added that Western intelligence agencies are attempting to create a divide between President Aleksandar Vucic and his closest allies, using the “weakest links” among them as tools in this effort.
“No government official needs to fear anything if they’ve done their job lawfully, and that’s the case for 99.9% of them. President Vucic is someone who has never abandoned his principles, his allies, or his proven friends,” Djurdjev said.
He went on to emphasize that the so-called opposition believes violence and chaos are their only paths to power.
“This small group of people wants to paralyze the country, tear it apart, and crush people’s confidence in themselves and their future. What they’re planning is nothing short of a historic betrayal. We cannot allow them to destroy our country over their selfish political games, because if we lose the state, we lose everything,” Djurdjev concluded.
