Telekom Srbija CEO Vladimir Lucic declared that Pristina’s plan to terminate the company’s operations in Kosovo and Metohija is doomed to fail, describing it as part of a broader agenda to push out the Serbian population.
During his visit to Washington, Lucic held multiple meetings with officials to discuss the status of Telekom Srbija in the region. Speaking to RTS afterward, he shared a sense of increased optimism.
“I think the situation is working in our favor, and the scheme being carried out by Pristina’s administration alongside two local operators will not succeed. The Brussels Agreement clearly defines our role, and we operate with their consent,” said Lucic. He accused the Kurti administration of unfairly targeting Telekom Srbija solely because of its Serbian identity.
He also highlighted that Telekom Srbija employs 250 people in the area and provides services to 30,000 households, underscoring its importance to the local community.
