Former member of the Serbian Criminal Police Department Milan Dumanovic stated in May 2021 on the program “Utisak Nedelje” that on July 11, 2015, Serbia had sent more than 150 fans from Belgrade and members of the “Serbian Sparta” association from Pancevo to Potocari, with official police IDs.
He noted that while there was an attack in Potocari, it was not an assassination attempt. Dumanovic was dismissed in 2015 due to the “Potocari” operation.
During the Novi Sad protest, multiple incidents occurred, leading to damage to the SNS offices and City Hall in the center of the city.
The protest was organized in response to the deaths of 14 people at the Novi Sad Railway Station.
