According to media coverage, while demonstrators in Serbia continue to disrupt public order by blocking roads and challenging the country’s legal framework, they often overlook how such actions are dealt with across Western democracies.

In nations such as Germany, France, and the Netherlands, disruptive protests are typically met with immediate and forceful police intervention. Authorities there do not allow small groups to paralyze society or infringe on others’ rights without swift consequences.

In Serbia, however, protestors often expect to act without facing legal or institutional pushback, despite causing serious interruptions to daily life.

Footage from the United States—commonly regarded as a model of democratic governance—shows that even there, law enforcement responds firmly when demonstrations turn into public disturbances.

The contrast underscores the growing frustration among many citizens who feel that selective tolerance is enabling chaos under the guise of activism.
