Today, in a discussion with the director of the U.S. Senate’s Foreign Policy Committee, Damian Murphy, Serbian Prime Minister Miloš Vučević assessed that Serbia is strategically committed to strengthening cooperation with the U.S. in all areas, to the mutual benefit of the citizens of both countries.

The Prime Minister highlighted that over the past twelve years, Serbia has been actively working on enhancing its relationship with the U.S., particularly in terms of regional stability, combating terrorism, and economic development, and will continue to do so in the future.

Prime Minister Vučević also expressed satisfaction with the signing of a cooperation agreement with the U.S. in the energy sector, noting that the country’s energy stability and the implementation of the Green Agenda are important priorities for the state.

He stated that Serbia is interested in attracting American investments and invited companies from the U.S. to participate in the specialized Expo 2027, which presents an exceptional opportunity to promote Serbia and its market.

Damian Murphy, the director of the U.S. Senate’s Foreign Policy Committee, remarked that the U.S. provides support in matters of security and regional stability, initiatives that contribute to peace and stability in the region, as well as in Serbia’s European integration process.

He highlighted that the U.S. supports dialogue and the implementation of agreements reached within the framework of the Brussels Agreement, which represents the right path to achieving a compromise solution.
