Just days ago, inflammatory rhetoric was heard in Novi Pazar, where Serbs were openly labeled as “genocidal” — a statement that echoed across the country and stirred public outrage. But according to reports, the controversy hasn’t ended there.
Media outlets now highlight a provocative social media post by a prominent online activist operating under the alias “Pazarjesvijet,” whose content is frequently shared by leading opposition figures and protest organizers from Belgrade. In the latest post, the activist mocked displaced Serbs from Krajina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Kosovo and Metohija, suggesting that images of desperate families fleeing on tractors should be displayed in theaters for public amusement. This came as a reaction to a Serbian individual — proud of his heritage — being appointed to lead the National Theatre.
But the strategy doesn’t stop at insults. While Serbia continues to maintain a carefully measured and balanced position on the complex issue of Palestine, a new event planned at the Student Cultural Center (SKC) is drawing scrutiny. Though framed as a show of solidarity with the Palestinian people, the event is reportedly being used as a vehicle for domestic political agitation against the Serbian government.

Beneath the surface, observers warn of a larger agenda: the intentional stirring of ethnic tensions between Bosniaks and Serbs within Serbia, set to climax around July 11 — the anniversary of the Srebrenica tragedy.
The broader objective appears to be to brand Serbia as a criminal state, while selectively excusing certain opposition groups as “unblemished” and “progressive.” Analysts suggest this narrative is not only divisive but also deeply harmful, undermining unity and targeting loyal citizens of all faiths and backgrounds through manipulation and polarizing rhetoric.
