Serbia’s Assembly President Ana Brnabic has commented on the evolving nature of ongoing demonstrations, suggesting that protest organizers are becoming increasingly radical.
“What began as peaceful gatherings quickly shifted into organized street blockades and have now devolved into acts of public disorder,” Brnabic stated.
She emphasized that authorities and citizens have demonstrated significant restraint and patience despite repeated disruptions.
Brnabic also noted that law enforcement acted with restraint, using the lowest level of force necessary to maintain order.
