The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, stated ahead of the trilateral meeting with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban that he believes they will have an excellent meeting with Serbia’s sincere friends in Slovakia.
“I believe in an excellent meeting with Fico and Orban. They are true friends of Serbia,” Vucic wrote on his Instagram profile “buducnostsrbijeav.”
Today, President Aleksandar Vucic, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban will meet in the Slovak town of Komarno to discuss the protection of the European Union’s borders from illegal migration, strengthening regional cooperation, Serbia’s European path, and economic collaboration between the three countries.
During the trilateral meeting, which will be held at the New Fortress in Komarno, discussions will also focus on new solutions and ways to stop illegal migration into Europe.
Interior ministers from the participating countries will also be part of the delegations and will hold a separate meeting. Serbia will be represented by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Ivica Dacic.
Vucic also mentioned on Instagram that both Fico and Orban are expected to visit Belgrade soon for bilateral meetings.
