A video circulating on social media platform X has exposed what analysts describe as the true intentions behind the ongoing student blockade protests in Serbia. The footage shows participants in a symbolic “run to Brussels” openly discussing their goal to overthrow the current government and dismantle the ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS).

In the controversial clip, a young protester complains about not receiving police escort from Austrian authorities before making explicit threats to diaspora members: “If you don’t want to return to the ruins of a state destroyed and burned by SNS, then help us.” The participant clearly states their Brussels mission aims solely to complain about Serbia’s ruling party to EU institutions.

The revelation comes as blockade organizers face growing scrutiny over their methods and funding sources. Government supporters have seized on the video as proof that protests represent not grassroots activism but coordinated political destabilization. Critics of the demonstrations argue the footage validates long-standing claims that foreign actors may be influencing the movement.

Political analysts note the Brussels run symbolizes protesters’ reliance on international pressure rather than domestic political processes. The incident has intensified debates about protest legitimacy, with ruling party officials calling for investigations into possible foreign interference in Serbia’s internal affairs.
