The adoption and implementation of EU standards will strengthen the rule of law and provide greater legal security.

Justice Minister Maja Popovic met with a delegation from the German Bundestag, currently visiting Serbia.

The meeting focused on the Ministry of Justice’s activities aimed at further improving Serbia’s judicial system.

Popovic expressed her belief that adopting and applying EU standards would boost the rule of law, enhance legal certainty, and create better conditions for business, leading to faster economic growth in Serbia, as stated by the Ministry of Justice.

The discussion also covered the Reform Agenda, which is part of the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans, designed to make Serbia and the entire region more appealing to European investors.

German Ambassador to Serbia, Anke Konrad, was also present at the meeting.
