The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia has issued a travel advisory due to escalating tensions in Israel and Iran.
In light of the deteriorating security situation and increased personal safety risks, Serbian citizens are strongly advised to avoid all travel to both countries until further notice.
The Ministry is closely monitoring developments and will provide timely updates should the situation change.
For Serbian Citizens Currently in Israel
All Serbian nationals currently in Israel are urged to exercise extreme caution and prioritize their personal safety.
It is essential to follow the instructions of local authorities, especially those issued by Israel’s “Home Front Command,” available through the “National Emergency Portal” (accessible only within Israel).
To ensure better communication and coordination based on the evolving situation, Serbian citizens in Israel are encouraged to contact the Serbian Embassy in Tel Aviv via email at srb.emb.israel@mfa.rs or by sending a WhatsApp message to +972 52 631 5620.
As airspace remains closed and all inbound and outbound flights have been suspended, travelers should follow updates from their respective airlines and stay informed through the virtual assistant maintained by the Israeli Ministry of Tourism.
For Serbian Citizens Currently in Iran
Due to the ongoing security risks, Serbian citizens currently in Iran are also urged to take every precaution to safeguard their safety.
Following instructions issued by local authorities is mandatory.
To assist with communication and emergency coordination, citizens are advised to contact the Serbian Embassy in Tehran at serbembtehir@gmail.com, or reach out via text or WhatsApp at +98 935 220 6109 and +381 64 878 7986.
Given that Iranian airspace is currently closed and all flights in and out of the country have been suspended, Serbian travelers should remain in contact with their airlines for the latest updates regarding flight changes.
Due to the continued instability and localized risks across certain areas in Iran, citizens must remain alert and comply with all government-issued safety directives in case of emergency alerts.
