During a recent meeting with Major General Ozkan Ulutas, the outgoing commander of the Kosovo Force (KFOR), General Milan Mojsilovic, Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, addressed security issues in Kosovo and Metohija.
The discussion centered on the impact of recent policies and actions by the authorities in Pristina, particularly those aimed at changing the ethnic demographics in the northern part of the region.
General Mojsilovic thanked Ulutas for their effective collaboration, acknowledging his contributions to peace and stability in the area. Command of KFOR will soon pass to Italian Major General Enrico Barduani, who is set to take over on October 11, 2024.
This change in leadership is seen as crucial for the KFOR mission in Kosovo and Metohija, given the growing security challenges and the increased need for international support.
