Member of Parliament Milenko Jovanov responded to a statement made by Srđan Milivojević, who reportedly said that “students who want to study must be left without food and water,” according to media reports.

“We have to leave the students who want to study without food and water, let them endure the hunger strike and let them rot,” Milivojević allegedly stated, as reported by several outlets.

His remark came as a reaction to the announced hunger strike by students who expressed their desire to continue their education uninterrupted.

In response, Milenko Jovanov reacted to Milivojević’s words.

“The real punishment would be forcing them to eat Milivojević’s burgers… Better to go without food and water than that,” Jovanov wrote.
