Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic abruptly ended his visit to the United States after suddenly falling ill on Tuesday afternoon. The unexpected health scare occurred following meetings with US Congresswoman Claudia Tenny and Serbian-American business leaders.
According to sources traveling with the presidential delegation, Vucic began feeling unwell shortly the the afternoon. He immediately requested medical attention, with his personal physician and US medical staff conducting an emergency examination.
“After consulting with doctors, President Vucic made the decision to return to Serbia as a precaution,” said Suzana Vasiljevic, the president’s media advisor, who was present along with Finance Minister Sinisa Mali when the incident occurred.
