Vojislav Seselj, president of the Serbian Radical Party (SRS), has disclosed that he once received an offer to meet with then-US President George H.W. Bush – for a fee of $100,000. The controversial politician claimed the proposed encounter would have included a brief handshake and conversation in the White House hallway, all captured by cameras.

“In America, everything comes with a price,” Seselj told TV Pink, explaining he declined to pay for the arranged meeting. The former wartime leader, known for his nationalist rhetoric, did not specify when the offer was made or through which intermediaries.

The revelation offers a rare glimpse into the transactional nature of high-level political access in Washington. Seselj, who spent 11 years in detention at the Hague before being acquitted of war crimes charges in 2018, has frequently criticized Western governments while maintaining contacts with various international figures.
