Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico is in Serbia for an official visit.
Today, he met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic at the Palace of Serbia.
After their private meeting, a larger delegation from both countries will join for talks led by Vucic and Fico.
Following the meeting, a press conference was held, where both leaders addressed the media.
The visit will also include a Serbian-Slovak business forum, and there are plans to sign a memorandum of cooperation between the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Slovakia’s Investment and Trade Development Agency.
Fico received a warm welcome with the playing of both national anthems and an honor guard.
Also present at the reception were Defense Minister Bratislav Gasic, Minister of Economy Adriana Mesarovic, and Foreign Minister Marko Djuric, who had earlier greeted Fico at Belgrade’s Nikola Tesla Airport.
