In a controversial social media post, Boban Bogdanović, known as the ideologue of Albin Kurti and his anti-Serbian policies, called for the assassination of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić.
In the post, he shared a photo of Vučić with a target superimposed over it, provoking condemnation and concern over the rising violent rhetoric.
This contentious and provocative statement was published on November 1st on the social media platform “X,” coinciding with a time when Serbia was grappling with a tragic event in Novi Sad. “On this difficult evening for Novi Sad and Vojvodina, I find some solace in the fact that among the close and extended family of the murdered child and all the citizens killed at the Novi Sad railway station, there are those who will seek to avenge the deaths of their loved ones! Lee Harvey Oswald is finally among us!” he wrote.
Bogdanović’s profile on the platform describes him as a doctor of economics, a political dissident, a security analyst for the Western Balkans, and a former Secretary-General of the IEAS.
