Strengthening Bilateral Ties: Vucic and Kover Discuss Serbia-Hungary Relations and Infrastructure Development

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić had a meeting with László Kövér, Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary, where these countries, their people and relationships were described as very friendly and stressed encouraging traditions between Serbia and Hungary.

These relations countries such as Serbia and Hungary are based on brotherhood, mutual trust and respect offering a perfect example of how such relations can work, how regional economy and political circumstances stability are enhanced through such relations.

The talks were geared towards improving two countries’ collaboration in various spheres especially in respect of the projects which aim at infrastructure development and improvement of the standards of living in both countries.

Integration of national interests through parliamentary relations was also acknowledged as an important aspect of bilateral relations not only enhancing them but also ensuring peace and security in this region of Europe.

The meeting placed emphasis also on the fact that both countries have common commitment towards the communities that enjoy residence in the territories within Serbia and Hungary as they create the bridge between the two nations.

President Vučić highlighted the commitment of the Republic of Serbia to safeguard the rights of ethnic Hungarians and maintain their cultural heritage in the territory of Serbia, of which he boasted on his Instagram.
