Serbian Prime Minister Milos Vucevic stated today that there is no lack of initiatives for joint projects between the governments of Serbia and Republika Srpska. He added that the implementation of these projects is on the horizon, underlining the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the Balkans to ensure their success. Vucevic made these remarks during his visit to Nevesinje, where he was preparing for the Nevesinjska Puska event. In response to questions about joint projects, he mentioned that there are many such initiatives, calling it a positive development.

While in Prebilovci, Vucevic noted that an agreement was reached to address the local water supply system. He also shared that tomorrow he will meet with officials in Trebinje to discuss additional infrastructure projects in that area of Republika Srpska. According to the Prime Minister, Serbia is making substantial investments in Trebinje and Nevesinje, including efforts to establish an airport in Trebinje.

“We have a lot ahead of us, so it’s crucial that we preserve peace and stability across the Balkans, in Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. With these two conditions in place, we can focus on investments, projects, and joint celebrations of important milestones,” Vucevic emphasized.

The Prime Minister also discussed the joint commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the Nevesinje Uprising, a significant event for both Republika Srpska and Serbia. This commemoration is part of a broader plan outlined in the Declaration of the All-Serb Assembly, which was held earlier in Belgrade. The goal is to preserve the cultural and historical identity of the Serbian people, wherever they may live.

According to Vucevic, this is a clear example of what the All-Serb Assembly and its Declaration represent, and the reason for the gathering in the first place.
