One of the students, Luka from the Faculty of Mathematics, was released after being questioned by the Third Basic Prosecutor’s Office.
“I won’t talk about how I felt personally. On the first day, I heard ‘Luka, we love you,’ and for me, that was enough,” he said.
“What matters most to me is that I’m free now. I want to tell all my fellow students to keep fighting until the end and not to fall for provocations. There’s no fear and no surrender. I urge everyone to stay strong and see this through,” Luka added.
Luka reached a plea agreement, as did another student.
Three more students are still being held at the Prosecutor’s Office, and a decision on their detention is yet to be made.
As a reminder, several individuals have been detained in connection with the attack on student Milos Pavlovic in the Student City complex.
