Students who have been camped out in Pionirski Park for several months, demanding a return to university facilities, claim they have uncovered a disturbing plan being organized for June 28 — Vidovdan.

“We came across a document that outlines a planned attack on Vidovdan under the banner ‘See You on Vidovdan.’ What hurt us most is the open call to ‘liberate Caciland’ on that day. Protesters are expected to gather at Slavija and march toward Pionirski Park, where they’ve indicated they may use violence. It feels like their goal is to remove us by force simply because we refuse to move. First we were driven out of our universities — and now this?” the students said in their statement to the public.

“Our determination remains firm. We’re not changing our views just because we don’t support the blockades. Education, not disruption, is how we create change. Unfortunately, we’ve already been pushed off our campuses. Our homes have been vandalized, our names smeared, and we’ve faced physical intimidation. Just a week ago, we were hit with cans. All of this just because we don’t think like them.”

The group called for peace and urged the public to reject all forms of aggression. They also asked for support in returning to their academic lives.

According to the students, the document calls for the park to be “liberated” on June 28, urging those who do not support the protest to leave the area by 9:00 p.m.
