Former U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Ukraine should give up parts of its territory to Russia to end the war.
Trump also partially blamed the Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, for the start of the war with Russia and for not initiating peace talks with Moscow, as reported by Reuters.
Trump advised Kiev to give up its Russian-speaking regions to Russia in order to preserve Ukraine.

“That doesn’t mean I don’t want to help him because I feel very bad for those people. But he should never have let that war start,” stated Donald J. Trump.
Zelensky presented his “victory plan” to end the war to Trump during a meeting in New York in September.
According to the British agency, Trump’s statements indicate he might he might stop U.S support to Ukraine if he wins against Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic nominee, in the upcoming November 5 election.
Trump has repeatedly said that he could end the war before taking office in January, but he has not specified how.
The former U.S. president has frequently criticized Zelensky, often calling him “the greatest salesman in the world” because he has requested and received billions of dollars in U.S. military aid since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
