Democratic U.S. presidential candidate Kamala Harris today challenged her Republican opponent, Donald Trump, to release his medical records, following her own health certification as “excellent” and suitable for the presidency
“Yesterday, I released my medical records. Donald Trump should do the same,” she declared on X.
“I encourage everyone to observe his rallies and judge his mental clarity for themselves,” she added in a video attached to the post.
At a rally in North Carolina, she urged voters to question Trump’s transparency about his medical records.
She claimed that crucial information is necessary for making informed decisions in the upcoming election.

“Check this out,” Harris said at the rally. “He refuses to release his medical records. I’ve done it. Every other presidential candidate in the modern era has done it.”
“He refuses a second debate,” Harris stated at the rally. “And here’s the thing; it makes you wonder. Why does his staff want him to hide away? One must question, Are they afraid that people will see that he is too weak and unstable to lead America?”
Kamala Harris’ medical records, issued on Saturday, describes her as a “healthy 59-year-old woman” with seasonal allergies and urticaria.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump’s medical history remains undisclosed.
Trump had previously stated he would release his medical records, telling CBS News in August, “Oh sure, I would do that very gladly.”
However, the Trump campaign issued a statement on Saturday, with a letter from his doctor confirming he was in “excellent” condition, with physical exams in the “normal range” and “outstanding” mental test results.
