According to media sources, the UAE leader personally picked up President Vucic from his hotel and drove him himself to the Al Watan Palace for their scheduled meeting.
This act is considered unprecedented, as it marks the first time the Emirati leader has personally welcomed a foreign head of state in such a manner.
President Vucic began his working visit to the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday, June 17. His agenda includes high-level talks with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, focusing on strengthening bilateral ties and discussing joint initiatives—one of which is the upcoming Expo 2027.
