Milos Vucevic, president of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), held a meeting with Zsolt Bunford, the envoy of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban for the Western Balkans, alongside Hungary’s ambassador to Serbia, H.E. József Magyar.
The discussion took place at the SNS headquarters and centered on advancing the long-standing cooperation between the two nations in areas of strategic interest.
During the meeting, Vucevic thanked the Hungarian delegation for their continued and sincere backing of Serbia’s EU accession efforts. He underlined the importance of the partnership between Serbia and Hungary, describing the relationship as one based on mutual respect and shared values. He also noted the successful collaboration between the SNS and Hungary’s ruling party, Fidesz—strengthened through the leadership of President Aleksandar Vucic and Prime Minister Orban.
“Hungary has consistently shown itself to be a reliable and committed partner to Serbia. The connection between our countries is rooted in strong political understanding and friendship,” Vucevic stated.
Envoy Bunford expressed appreciation for the hospitality and affirmed Hungary’s commitment to expanding cooperation in vital sectors, while also supporting deeper coordination between the two political parties. He emphasized that both sides stand to benefit from even closer cooperation moving forward.
