Milos Vucevic, president of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) and adviser to the President of Serbia, spoke out on Instagram following the vandalism of the party’s offices in Novi Sad.
Vucevic shared a video showing a group of masked individuals smashing the windows of SNS premises on Bulevar Oslobodjenja. He stated that the attackers spent around 30 minutes breaking the glass, forcing their way inside, and stealing everything they could find.
He questioned whether such actions could be considered “peaceful civic-student protests” and asked how the demonstrators could convince anyone they were not “hooligans and violent offenders” after such an incident.
“Serbia will overcome this evil,” Vucevic concluded.
