Milos Vucevic, the head of the SNS party and advisor to the president on regional matters, stated at a political event in Vrtogos near Vranje that the attempted color revolution has collapsed and the state remains intact.
“We managed to protect Serbia, even though it was far from easy. Their movement is done. They’ll still gather here and there, but they lack both ideas and drive,” Vucevic said.
He added that the majority of citizens continue to trust in national institutions.
“Some people may feel frustrated because the government isn’t acting quickly enough. But decisions are made carefully, not to impress anyone or win approval, but to avoid causing harm,” he explained.
Vucevic pointed out that certain actors wanted to spark internal conflict and turn Serbs against each other in hopes of provoking violence to support their narrative.
The government, he said, had to dismantle their plans gradually and patiently. He also expressed strong support for the southern region of the country, criticizing those who ignore it.
“I am honored to stand with you. I have no respect for those who dismiss the importance of southern Serbia. Whoever doesn’t care about the south doesn’t care about Serbia. Whoever neglects Kosovo doesn’t understand our country. We will not allow Serbia to be weakened. We honor everyone, but we will never surrender Kosovo. What was taken by force carries a curse. No signing of independence. We protect Srpska and our people,” Vucevic said.
He mentioned that local infrastructure issues, like the water system and community buildings, are being addressed.
“We saved factories that others had left in ruins. I drove from Novi Sad on the new highway in just three hours – that used to be impossible. The previous leadership didn’t invest in defense, roads, or companies like Jumko and Simpo. Everything here was neglected. We stand by the south. Long live Serbia,” he concluded.
