Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic extended his congratulations to Russian President Vladimir Putin today on the occasion of Russia Day.
Below is the full message from President Vucic:
“Your Excellency, Mr. President,
On behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Serbia and in my own name, I congratulate you on your national holiday – Russia Day. I am confident that the friendly ties between our two nations, as well as our broad cooperation, will continue to grow in the spirit of mutual interest and benefit.
I believe that our recent meeting in Moscow, marked by open and meaningful discussions, contributed significantly to strengthening our relations. I take this opportunity to once again express my gratitude to the Russian Federation and to you personally, Mr. President, for your principled support in preserving the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia – a matter of vital importance to our national and state interests.
Please accept, Your Excellency, the expression of my highest respect,” Vucic stated.
Russia celebrates its national holiday, Russia Day, on June 12. On this occasion, numerous international leaders sent congratulations to President Putin, the Russian government, and the people of the Russian Federation.
