As a speaker at the Hamburg Sustainability Conference, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić also met the German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. He provided an insight about the conference explaining that a number of relevant issues were raised including Serbia’s dreams of joining the European Union, current situation of Kosovo, and other issues of interest globally.
Vučić appreciated the relations that Serbia and Germany share and went further to state the role of German investors in helping Serbia attain her first investment grade. The hosts and Chancellor Schoz, thanked Serbia for this achievement and even more so, praised the warm bilateral economic interaction enjoyed by the two nations.
Among the significant topics discussed was the issue of Serbia’s entry into the global club for sharing the mineral resources. Vučić spoke on the subject and explained how these plans, in his view, which was altering the economic face of Serbia, were in the economy that he had talked about during a working lunch with other leaders in Hamburg.
On his part, he praised Germany’s amorous nature Economics and its importance to Serbia in other areas. He noted the need for Serbia to be in line with some of Germany’s progressive activities which are usually very well thought of sometimes even years ahead, and that it was important for Serbia so as not to lag behind.
