“Today in Tirana, we are discussing the most pressing challenges facing our continent — peace, security, democratic stability, and the future of Europe. Once again, I have the honor of representing Serbia’s interests, staying true to our policy of independent decision-making and strategic responsibility,” Vucic stated.
He expressed confidence that significant progress could be made by the end of the year on Serbia’s European path and that there is a real opportunity to revive hope in a European future within Serbia.
“We are also talking about Europe’s role in the evolving global landscape and how to navigate complex times by making thoughtful, long-term decisions. The changes happening across Europe present us with new opportunities to advance our integration, while also strengthening cooperation with other partners,” he added.
“My core message remains unchanged — what we need are dialogue, responsibility, and lasting peace. For Serbia, peace is not merely a choice; it is a responsibility, and we remain firmly committed to that path,” Vucic wrote on his official Instagram profile “Buducnost Srbije AV,” along with photos of meetings with various European leaders.
In Tirana, Vucic held talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas, and several other European leaders.
President Vucic also met with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze to discuss the challenges facing both countries and expressed gratitude for Georgia’s consistent support for Serbia’s territorial integrity.
Additionally, he spoke with Austrian Chancellor Christian Stocker about key issues related to European security, migration pressures, and energy stability.
“We paid special attention to the situation in the Western Balkans and emphasized the importance of continuing European integration based on principles, trust, and strategic responsibility,” Vucic noted on Instagram.
Later, he posted a photo from his meeting with the Secretary General of the Council of Europe.
President Vucic also had a discussion with European Council President Antonio Costa, which he described as excellent.
