Today, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with Abdel-Wahab Abdel-Razeq, President of Egypt’s Senate.
“Our relations with Egypt are exceptional and based on the foundations of traditional friendship. In this spirit, I spoke with the President of the Egyptian Senate, Abdelwahab Abdelrazek, about all matters of importance for the development of the overall relations between our friendly countries.
We particularly focused on issues of mutual priority and interest, such as strengthening economic and trade exchange, bilateral cooperation, and the introduction of a direct flight on the Belgrade-Cairo route, which would facilitate the arrival of a greater number of investors. We also discussed current geopolitical issues and emphasized the importance of joint action in addressing global challenges, promoting peace, and supporting sustainable development initiatives.
We agreed that high-level visits in the previous period have paved the way for even stronger relations and the development of cooperation between Serbia and Egypt. I asked the President of the Egyptian Senate to convey my warm regards to President El-Sisi”, said Vucic.
