Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic extended his condolences following a tragic plane crash that claimed 49 lives, addressing the families of the victims, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and the people of Russia.

“On behalf of myself and the citizens of Serbia, I offer my sincere condolences to the families of the victims, to the President of Russia, and to the entire Russian nation. In these moments of deep sorrow, our thoughts are with you. May they rest in peace,” Vucic wrote on social media platform X.

The An-24 passenger plane, carrying 49 individuals including six crew members and five children, crashed today in the Amur region in Russia’s Far East.

Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations stated in its preliminary report that there were no survivors in the crash near Tynda.
